The Winnebago Landfill accepted its first deliveries of solid waste at Pagel’s Landfill about 35 years ago. In 2005, Pagel’s Landfill was renamed the Winnebago Landfill and Recycling Facility to reflect the operations performed at the site.

Our company and our region should take pride in the fact that we have responsibly provided solid waste disposal and recycling services with a plan for the future. Many communities were, or still are, in a state of crisis as they face landfills at capacity or have no long-range plans for the management of their solid waste.
